Mark brings big-picture perspective and detailed oversight to managing Elyxium’s investment strategies. As deputy chief investment officer of Elyxium, he collaborates with the team to shape the firm’s investment philosophy and process.
Mark leverages more than 20 years of perspective and experience in private wealth and institutional investments. Prior to Elyxium, Mark served as chief investment officer (CIO) at Pallas Capital Advisors, where he oversaw $3 billion in private wealth assets. Earlier he held various institutional roles at BNY Mellon for over a decade. He was responsible for managing $10 billion in assets and was the lead portfolio manager for global and international equity products. He also oversaw the design and implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs. At the start of his career, he spent nearly a decade at Putnam Investments as a global equity portfolio manager and analyst.
Mark earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS with honors from Penn State as a graduate from the University Scholars program. He is a CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst®) charter holder and holds the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation.
Mark lives in Massachusetts, with his family. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and skiing. Mark supports various local and national charities, including New England Disabled Sports, National Eczema Association and National Alopecia Areata Foundation.
